AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I brought my car to the AAMCO today after speaking with Dawn about having issues with my AC not blowing cool air. I called and spoke with Aric who allowed me to come in a few hours later and was very helpful, resourceful, and knowledgeable about my vehicle and what it needed to be fixed in order to be restored. Highly appreciated!

I had a bad battery after I purchased my vehicle a month prior. So I called up AAMCO in El Cajon and spoke with Dawn Marie! She was a sweetheart from the get go! Dawn Marie assured me that I could get my vehicle in for a battery replacement immediately. This angel did not disappoint! Once I got there, the AAMCO team started working to help me in a jiffy! Took my truck here I thought the transmission was having trouble they checked it out and found a misfire on # 4 cylinder recommended changing all six spark plugs and doing an oil change. Oil change was $137, diagnostic fee was $199, Labor for changing the spark plugs was $338 and six spark plugs was $210. - $35.00 EACH, I recommend that if you are getting any work done at this facility that you ask for an itemized breakdown when they call you and you have a complete understanding of the charges being made.
